Gap between Education and Employability:

Literacy rate in India might be cited at around 74% (in 2011), but the ground reality is that even among the so-called educated youth, 'employability' remains a key challenge. The main reasons behind this are a lack of communication and other finer skills. This is an important gap that needs to be bridged, and we bring to you a program designed by Corvyd which will assure you of great success.

Gap in Academic Syllabus - What Academic Institutions offer v/s What Corporate is looking for?

Our courses are designed to prepare candidates to succeed as they make the transition from school to college education or college education to job industry. The courses emphasizes setting priorities, time management, effective listening, note taking, concentration techniques, retention of information, critical thinking, text analysis and comprehension, and test-taking skills. The course also incorporates modules that are designed to facilitate the use of library data bases in planning and setting educational objectives, lifelong career assessment and decision making, financial aid, tutoring and student support services, enabling the student to maximize the use of college resources.

Communication: Being able to communicate effectively is most important of all life skills. Developing your communication skills can help all aspects of your life, from your professional life to social gatherings and everything in between. The ability to communicate information accurately, clearly and as intended, is a vital life skill and something that should not be overlooked. It's never too late to work on your communication skills and by doing so improve your quality of life.

Soft Skills: Soft skills are personal attributes that enhance an individual's interactions, job performance and career prospects. Unlike hard skills, which are about a person's skill set and ability to perform a certain type of task or activity, soft skills are interpersonal and broadly applicable.

Soft skills are often described by using terms often associated with personality traits, such as: It's often said that hard skills will get you an interview but you need soft skills to get (and keep) the job.

Personality Development: Personality Development fundamentally means grooming and enhancing ones inner and outer personal to bring in the positive change for your life. Each and every individual features a distinct persona that could be polished, refined and developed. This technique includes improving communication, language speaking abilities and boosting ones confidence, developing certain hobbies, extending ones scope of understanding or skills, manners and studying fine etiquette, including grace and style for the way one appears, walks and talks and total imbibing oneself together with liveliness, positivity and peace.

Group Discussion / Debate: A group discussion is an interesting activity where a group of people discuss about a topic. It is sharing of our opinion and known facts with the group. Group discussion is a smart way of recruitment. It saves time and gives more information about the individuals. Unlike a group discussion in this activity there will be two teams. One team will speak about only the positive points while other will speak only negative. It is purely an argument.
